We were invited to design the identity for this year’s Slovenian biennial of design Brumen. This is the 10. edition of the event or X in Latin. But X also serves as a placeholder in the design language, which we embraced by inviting all winners from the previous biennial to design their versions of X’s to create a crowdsourced identity for this big anniversary. The central graphic of this year’s identity that is going to change on almost every application to create something like an advent calendar of form exploration. The identity retains recognisability through typography, colour scheme and the motif itself.
